Ph.D. Dao’s core competencies are in the field of Molecular Biology, Food Science & Technology and Enzymes. He has conducted numerous patent searches, drafted patents and analyzed patents in the fields of Enzyme and Fruit Processing Technology, Biochemistry and Pharmaceuticals. He has also extensive expertise in writing, prosecuting and arguing appeals before NOIP of Vietnam.

Prior to joining ACTIP Patent Limited as a leader of Biotechnology & Pharmaceuticals Team, Ph.D. Dao was the Vice Dean of Faculty of Biotechnology, Hanoi Open University where he was extensively involved in Research & Development activities leading to numerous inventions and patents.

Ph.D. Dao earned his Bachelor and Master of Science in Microbial Genetics and Molecular Biology from Slovakia’s Komenski University in 1986. His research led to a Ph.D. and Postdoctoral study in Food Science and Technology from Korea’s Seoul National University in 2002.
