Design may be registered by filing a Declaration of Ownership for Design at the office of the Sub-registrar of Deeds and Assurances in Yangon and then followed by Cautionary Notice under section 18(f) of the Registration Act (1946). The registered Design Declaration of Ownership is considered as "registration".

[2] seniority

Currently, there is no regulation about claiming priority right basing on the earlier design application filed in other country, however, it is possible to reflect the earlier patent right in the Design Declaration by claiming seniority from earlier design application field or registered in other countries.

[3] multiple design

There is no regulation regarding the multiple design application in Myanmar. However, the multiple designs for one product in one declaration are accepted. And there is no limitation on the number of designs for one product in one Declaration. One endorsed Declaration will be granted for all designs.
